Re: Calls without country code

Hello, in TAPI there is a method called "lineTranslateAddress" which can be used with hbTapi. The lineTranslateAddress function translates the specified address into another format. This can be used to translate a address based on the configured TAPI location codes. In practice, it is not very good ...

Re: Devicelist Freezes

Hello, the application freezes because the TAPI function which is call hangs. I dont't know which function causes the problem. But I think, it's the "lineInitializeEx" funktion. This one is called during the initialization process when hbTapi "connects" with TAPI. It is automatically called when the...

Re: Devicelist Freezes

Hello,

hbTapi gets the names (and other data) from the TSPs. It seems, that there is a timeout by some TSPs.

Can you check the behavior using other TAPI applications.

There is no way call the method "async".

Re: Compatible Modems recommended

Hello,
sorry, but we are not able to suggest a TAPI modem. There are too many devices on the market an we can't test them.
For telephony sulutions, we suggest the way2call products which provide a good TAPI support.

Best regards
Stefan

Re: TAPI Devices.

Hi,

yes, hbTapi (and TAPI too) is able to work with network-based devices. But this is not part of hbTapi. The TAPI-Service-Provider (TSP) has to handle this. You need a TSP for the devices (or PBX) you are using.

Regards,

Stefan

The formerly used forum software is no longer supported. So we decided to change our forum to the well known bulletin board software phpBB which offers much more capabilities. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to transfer the existing user accounts and content to the new forum. We welcome you to reg...
